How we measure
Every item is measured by hand, laid flat, in inches. Measurements are listed on each product page.
- Pit to pit: straight across the front, armpit to armpit. Double it for the approximate bust/chest all the way round.
- Waist: the full waistband measurement all the way round (skirts, jeans, trousers, shorts).
- Length: tops, dresses and jackets from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem; bottoms from the top of the waistband to the hem.
Tagged size vs. our size
Vintage and Italian sizing varies a lot, so we list the size on the label and our recommended UK size. Always check the measurements against a similar piece you own.
